Business Title: Creative Designer

Professional Web Designers are masters of the visual arts. They are the creative minds behind designing and creating effective websites.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Lead Marketing Head, the creative designer is responsible for updating the website in a timely fashion with new banners, merchandising images (provided by our Jewellery Photographer), HTML pages, design online newsletter campaigns, design print campaigns, layout designs for brochures, as well as making sure links are functional and the website is user-friendly.
The ideal candidate should bring a creative outlook to the role, be assertive and achievement oriented. |
| Job Qualifications: |
 |
College Bachelors degree (additional qualifications in Creative Design would
also be preferred) |
|
Must be Creative / Innovative to new ideas and concepts in Design. |
|
2 -3 years of work experience in web designing / web authoring. |
|
Expertise in current internet standards, including web browsers and browser
specifications. |
|
In-depth knowledge of one or more current web markup or scripting
languages:
HTML, XHTML, CSS, Javascript, Flash
|
|
|
Extensive experience with the following imaging application in each of the
following categories:
Photo Editing (Adobe Photoshop)
Drawing (Adobe Illustrator)
Multimedia (Macromedia Director, Flash, streaming audio and video)
Any of the Others (Adobe Distiller/Exchange, GifBuilder, GifConverter, 3ds Max, etc.) |

Extensive experience in editing (Retouching, Color Correction, Outlining,
Shadows & Backgrounds, Optimization for web delivery) raw digital images of products.
|
|
|
Ability to clearly document all projects and to manage bug reports from Johareez.com
staff efficiently. |
|
Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact
professionally with a diverse group of users and support staff. |
|
Excellent team player as well as independent achiever. |
|

Primary Job Responsibilities:
The Product Descriptions Writer works with cross-functional teams to write detailed product descriptions of our new and existing jewellery products with the highest level of accuracy and creativity.
The Product Descriptions writer needs to determine how to best convey product details to our viewers so they have a clear understanding of the products being offered on the site so they may enjoy an ideal shopping experience with us.
In addition to the creation of detailed product descriptions, the descriptions writer will be responsible for adding the product descriptions onto our CMS (Commerce Management System) in an orderly fashion. Training on our CMS will be provided by our Training Team. It is also essential that you have an ability to multi-task. You must be able to communicate and coordinate well with other team members. |

The Jewellery Photographer will take digital photo shots of various kinds of jewellery products (Rings, Earrings, Pendants, Bracelets, Necklaces, etc). After shooting, he will provide the raw digital photo files to the cross-functional (Editing) team so they may get them ready for the website. |
